Peter J. Keane is Sylvan Crest’s managing director for the state of Florida. He is a senior operating executive and private-equity–focused operator with more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale, capital-intensive businesses across homebuilding, land development, and real estate operations. His career spans full P&L; ownership, multi-market leadership, and value-creation initiatives across complex, highly regulated environments.
Most recently, Mr. Keane is the Founder, CEO, and Owner of 361 Consulting, where he advises investors, operators, and development platforms on homebuilding operations, land and community development strategy, active-adult communities, and financial and operational performance. His work focuses on improving execution, aligning strategy with capital deployment, and building KPI-driven operating disciplines to enhance profitability and scalability.
Previously, Mr. Keane spent two decades at PulteGroup, culminating in his role as Area President for Florida, where he led a $2.5 billion revenue region with approximately 850 employees across multiple divisions. In this role, he oversaw end-to-end operations including land acquisition and underwriting, portfolio management, community development, construction, sales, and marketing.
Earlier at PulteGroup, Mr. Keane held Division President and Senior Vice President roles, leading organizations responsible for more than 2,500 annual home sales and approximately $1 billion in revenue. His experience includes post-merger integration, organizational restructuring, development of enterprise KPI and reporting systems, and aligning operational execution with long-term land and capital strategy.
Mr. Keane holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
